Pancho Porto (Santiago de Compostela, 1988) began his training in the specialty of artistic carpentry at the Antonio Failde center in Ourense. In this school he had his first contact with disciplines such as carving, drawing, or modeling, and, most importantly, with workshop work.
Later he enrolled at the Mestre Mateo School of Arts and Trades in Santiago de Compostela, where he studied what would later become his main discipline: sculpture. Parallely, Porto continued his personal development and researched other materials such as bronze or resins and their multiple uses and finishes, leaning towards the use of bronze and steel as the definitive materials for his works.
