Commercially manufactured steel sculpture (jerrican) customized, finished by hand by the Artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes. The edition number applies to the painted finish by the artist and not to the base object.

Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion that needed to come to life.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught plastic artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), making them clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and Caviar) and with Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with various resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
