Sulla nostra terra is an oil on canvas landscape by Ukrainian artist Alexander Dmitrievich Basanets (1931–?), dated 1983, 130 by 177 cm, in social realism, hand-signed, original edition.

Painting of Soviet social realism by Basanets Alexander Dmitrievich (1931), On Our Land, 130×177 cm, oil on canvas, 1983.
The painting will be sold with authentication on the photo that includes the export permit from the Chernihiv Art Museum (Ukraine) signed by the expert, the catalog number in the archive, and the date.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the painting will be shipped without a frame. You will RECEIVE ONLY the canvas rolled in a plastic tube.
Attention!!!! If shipping outside the European Community, the lot will be shipped only after clearance from the competent authority. The above timelines do not depend on the bidder (lately they take about 2 weeks). Procedures with the Fine Arts authority are the seller's responsibility.

Ukrainian Soviet painter. Honored Artist of Ukraine. Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (Kyiv branch). Born September 3, 1931 in the city of Lebedyn, Sumy region. Graduated from: Odessa Art School (1955), Kyiv State Art Institute (1962). Teachers in the specialty: K. Trokhimenko, V. Kostetsky, V. Puzirkov, I. Shtilman, M. Khmelko, V. Chernikov, O. Sirotenko. Painter. Worked in easel painting, in the genres of thematic painting and landscape. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1967). Honored Artist of Ukraine (1989). Taught at the National Academy of Arts and Architecture (1962) and was a professor (1990). Participated in republican exhibitions (1963). Works are kept in the National Art Museum, Sumy Art Museum, Donetsk Art Museum, Ivano-Frankivsk Art Museum, and Lebedyn Art Museum.
