Hand-finished aluminum sculpture by Artist XTC, created on a virgin commercially manufactured base (extinguisher). The edition number applies to the painted finish by the artist and not to the base object, the extinguisher.
Fully painted with Montana spray paints and varnish.
Only painted, no stickers for a homogeneous result and better longevity.

Numbered out of 30 and signed underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.

Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual pursuit became a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all sorts of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He is inspired, among others, by Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work: it is an empty (gas) extinguisher of recovery that may show cosmetic flaws through the paint. (Obviously it is forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels or the pin are missing)
