XTC's original sculpture titled 'Mc Banksy Red Gold 19cm', made in resin and plastic, 25 cm high (19 cm without the balloon) with a 15 x 10 cm plexiglass base, hand-signed, edition 2/4 EA (AP), created in 2026 in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Exceptional sculpture by XTC Artist:
Big McBanksy-style red cone with 24K gold
Original sculpture designed, molded, and finished by hand by the XTC Artist using resins, acrylic paints, and varnishes.
It stands 19 cm tall (25 cm with the balloon), on a plexiglass base 10 x 15 cm and 15 mm thick.
Designed and made in molded resin, gilded with 24-carat gold leaf (everything that is gold-plated is pure gold leaf), with paint. Protected under a varnish as brilliant as it is durable.
This design will be produced in only 8 copies and 4 EA (AP).
Dérive of a McDonald’s cone, all the delicacy of Banksy’s work with the excess that characterizes McDonald’s, represented by the quantity of hearts.
Signed and numbered on the edge of the base, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
Careful and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual research evolved into a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary mass-market goods.
His creativity is expressed through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), pitted against the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addiction in general.
All potential flaws or imperfections are an integral part of the artwork.
