The artistic and multi-faceted talent of Paolo Desario shines impulsively from his works, releasing a vital energy almost tangible. His inspiration starts from an inner search that has ancient and primordial echoes, as suggested by the sinuous female torsos and the winged figures. He manages to combine reality and transcendence through ever-new intuitions, knowing how to operate an original synthesis between the individual predilection for the essentiality of forms and the most attentive contemporary plastic research.

Sculptor and painter, Paolo Desario was born in Barletta, in Apulia, and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bari in the sculpture school of Amerigo Tot. He lives and works in Barletta; he has taught Plastic Disciplines at the State Artistic High School "Sacro Cuore" of Cerignola and at the Artistic High School of Corato. He boasts an artistic career started almost 50 years ago, dedicating himself to sculpture and painting, participating in numerous national and international solo and group exhibitions.
