In the light, the surface reveals a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and viewing angle, structure and depth change; individual layers become more pronounced. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises when walking, standing, lingering.
Frequency PEARL — Sculpture of Light, Structure & Presence
Frequency Series is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I translate rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Title: Frequency Series
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and Heavy-Gel textured paste on canvas, built up in layers with various trowels. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only the highest quality materials are used: acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texturing pastes from Liquitex – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide stretcher frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The pictures were taken under professional studio lighting. The light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing the pieces under direct or indirect light to fully reveal the color play and bring the works to life.
