What tension!

This sculpture plays with balance and tension—a device I like to use in many of my sculptures. It also represents how we interact with the world and, in turn, how the world interacts with us: a central cube that represents the "I" and two larger ones that represent life and circumstances. We must learn to live by steering our destiny, seeking balance so that the harsh reality of both doesn’t end up swallowing us.
