This lively panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples reinterprets the classic tradition of Neapolitan vedutismo through a painterly language that is material in nature and of expressionist origin, characterized by an intense and highly saturated chromatic application.

In the foreground, an exuberant splash of Mediterranean vegetation explodes in a combination of incandescent tones — from cadmium red to orange, from solar yellow to emerald green — serving as a natural setting that anchors the composition and defines its spatial depth. In the lower left, inserted among the color fields of the flora, the artist's signature emerges clearly.

The middle ground hosts an articulated gradation of coastal architectures rendered with synthetic touches in soft pink, ochre and light violet hues. The built volumes gradually fade toward the coves of the bay, where the sea takes on a dense, deep cobalt blue, creased with white ripples along the shore and dotted with delicate silhouettes of sailing boats in motion.
