Mara. J XL - Emerald Understory

A dense undergrowth opens into a cascade of greens, from the deep darkness high up to the emerald glow that invades the lower part of the canvas. Slender violet stems traverse the vegetation like threads of residual light, tracing a vertical rhythm among the leaves. The painterly material thickens and lightens progressively, as if the earth itself were emitting a glow. Each leaf seems to capture its own fragment of light, in a vibrant and uninterrupted fabric. A corner of silent nature, where the green becomes a breath and the light seems to be born from below.
