Mara. J XXL - Amethyst Grove

The violet rises from the deep, almost nocturnal background to a light haze of lilac and rosy ash, where the foliage dissolves into the light. In the center a nucleus of golden petals ignites, warm as a beam that finds a gap among the branches and illuminates a single point of vegetation. Aqua-green stems run vertically across the entire surface, thin and tenacious, like a hidden structure supporting the bloom. The matter is dense and granular, built from overlapping impressions that allow the underlying layers to surface. It is the image of a garden at dusk, when color becomes more intense and every leaf holds the last light.
