This edition, exhibited at the ARLES photography meetings, is the first print of a limited series of 5 copies in the format.
The photograph coming directly from BEN DAUCHEZ's studio is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity drafted and signed by the photographer.
About BEN DAUCHEZ :
Passionate about photography from a young age, Ben began in the neighborhood studios of La Rochelle (France). There he acquired all the basics of photography, from classic technique, to shooting and retouching, through the laboratory.
At 22, freshly graduated, he moved to Paris to perfect his training by becoming a set assistant for the Daguerre studios, Le Petit Oiseau va sortir and Studio Zéro.
Ben was able to collaborate and assist the photographers of the most talented: Bettina RHEIMS, Patrick DEMARCHELIER, Terry RICHARDSON, Ellen VON UNWERTH, Marcus MAM...
From certain decisive encounters were born beautiful projects and long collaborations, notably with André RAU, Bettina RHEIMS (the sultry exhibition INRI and its eponymous book at Editions Albin Michel), Peter BEARD (2009 Pirelli calendar in Botswana).
His photos are published, among others, in Condé Nast Editions (French and international), Première, WallPaper, ID, Madame Figaro, Lifestyles, Vogue, Dandy Magazine…
His universe also interests brands with very different identity codes for which he has signed institutional and/or advertising campaigns: Dior (beauty), L'Oréal, Peugeot, Philip Morris or Burger King (advertising awarded at the Dubai Lynx), PEUGEOT Motorcycles, ...
He has also produced numerous portraits of celebrities (IGGY POP, Woody ALLEN, Grace JONES, Jean DUJARDIN, Gilles LELLOUCHE, Olivier MARCHAL, Carole BOUQUET, Charlotte GAINSBOURG, Blake Lively…) of beauty, of men of the world (Olivier DASSAULT, Jacques SEGUELA...) and of travelers...
This photographic path has since then allowed him to freely immortalize the human beauty, aesthetics and spirit of each personality.
