He won for The Brutalist (2024) the Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival, the Golden Globe and the BAFTA for Best Director, and he received three Oscar nominations (Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay). This film, carried by Adrien Brody, is immediately regarded as a masterpiece by critics1.

This spectacular XL-format print features Brady Corbet, a famous American actor and director.

This work is by Ben DAUCHEZ, whom he created in 2014 in Deauville, on the occasion of a private photo session.
This edition, exhibited at the Rencontres de la Photographie d’ARLES, is the first print in a limited series of 30 copies.

The photograph coming directly from BEN DAUCHEZ’s studio is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity written and signed by the photographer.

Passionate about photography from a very young age, Ben DAUCHEZ began in the neighborhood studios of La Rochelle. There he acquired all the basics of photography—from classical technique, shooting to post-processing and laboratory work. At 22, freshly graduated, he moved to Paris to perfect his training by becoming a set assistant for the Daguerre studios, Le Petit Oiseau va sortir, and Studio Zéro. He had the chance to collaborate with and assist some of the most talented photographers: Bettina RHEIMS, Patrick DEMARCHELIER, Terry RICHARDSON, Ellen VON UNWERTH, Marcus MAM… From certain decisive encounters arose beautiful projects and long collaborations, notably with André RAU, Bettina RHEIMS (the sultry exhibition INRI and its eponymous book at Editions Albin Michel) and Peter BEARD (2009 Pirelli calendar in Botswana).

His photos have been published, among others, by Condé Nast Editions (French and international), Première, Wallpaper, ID, Madame Figaro, Lifestyles, Dandy Magazine… His universe also interests brands with very different identity codes for which he has signed institutional and/or advertising campaigns such as Dior (beauty), L’Oréal, Peugeot, Philip Morris or Burger King (advertising awarded at Dubai Lynx).

Ben DAUCHEZ has also shot numerous portraits of celebrities (IGGY POP, Woody ALLEN, Grace JONES, Jean DUJARDIN, Gilles LELLOUCHE, Olivier MARCHAL, Carole BOUQUET, Charlotte GAINSBOURG, …) in beauty, men of the world (Olivier DASSAULT, Jacques SEGUELA…) and travelers…
