Description from the seller

Dom Pérignon Millésime – Bacchante Reimagined | Slasky

In quest’opera Slasky reinterprets the famous “Baccante” by Malkov, blending it with the iconic label of Dom Pérignon Rosé Millésime. The language of academic painting dialogues with one of the most recognizable symbols of contemporary luxury, transforming an allegorical figure dedicated to wine and celebration into an image that reflects desire, prestige, and the value attributed to iconic objects.

The bacchant, traditionally linked to the rituals of Bacchus, raises a bottle of champagne rather than the usual classical attribute, while the background of the monumental label replaces the original painterly setting. The result is a short circuit between art history, branding, and collecting culture.

The work fits into Slasky’s artistic research, which explores the transformation of symbols of consumption into new contemporary reliquaries through compositions with strong visual and museal impact.

Ideal for collectors of contemporary art, champagne enthusiasts, luxury design and reinterpretations of classical painting.
