The painting depicts five grazing geese. The upper part of the painting consists of a rug imitating wood and leaves. From the rug to the geese, strips—fringes—extend. They connect the top and bottom of the composition. One of the geese stretches out to touch a leaf. The painting combines contrasting, subdued, yet sufficiently vibrant colors and is divided into three horizontal sections.
My name is Juliya Navarych. I am 35 years old. I have been living in Poland with my husband and daughter for five years. I was born and raised in the small town of Pinsk in Belarus. I completed the Pinsk School of Fine Arts (2004-2008) and then graduated from the Department of Graphic Design at the Pinsk State College of Fine Arts in Belarus (2008-2012).
I paint with oil paints on canvas; it’s my favorite material. I use contrasting, vivid colors. I am interested in painting and modern graphics. I love unusual, striking images that grab the eye.
I want to show the viewer how completely different people, objects, animals, and colors can harmonize, forming a single composition. I try to show and reveal the beauty of the most ordinary things. In my work I strive to show and discover feminine beauty, charm, and individuality in unusual compositions. I like to combine different patterns, textures, and colors. My art is my imagination, what comes to mind. I love ethnic style, mixing something folk/old, when many different objects, people appear on one of my canvases.
