The book contains all then known and preserved speeches, letters, and fragments of the ancient Greek orator Isocrates. The text is printed as a parallel edition (Greek/Latin): the Greek original stands directly next to or above the Latin translation. Condition:
Binding slightly soiled, spine label soiled and somewhat creased. Front flyleaf renewed and back one missing. Title page with an added excision not touching the text, as well as contemporary handwritten notes on the front and back. Paper somewhat browned and partially (moist-) stained.
