Highland Park 16 years old Odin - 70cl

The god Odin is the god of war, poetry, the dead, runes and magic as well as just generally being the top-dog when it comes to Norse Mythology. Supposedly he sacrificed one of his eyes for a drink from the Well of Wisdom but don’t fear! It won’t cost you an eye to get your hands on this bottle. But it probably won’t make you any wiser either. It’s fitting that a big, bold whisky like this would be named after such a character. Highland Park 16 Years Old Odin Valhalla Collection is part of the Highland Park Valhalla series that celebrates the gods Thor, Freya, Loki and the big boy himself, Odin. He comes sailing onto your whisky shelf in a fierce little black longboat stand. The nose packs a punch with some spicy cinnamon, nutmeg and smoke alongside dates, cherry and sherry. The palate is rich with chocolate, raisins, butterscotch and prunes while the finish has plums, peat and treacle. Please note: it takes up two spaces in a parcel.
