Miguel is a Spanish plastic artist who began his career in 1980 and has developed a solid and emotionally intense trajectory, recognized worldwide. He has exhibited in cities such as New York, Hong Kong, Paris, Buenos Aires and Mexico City, and his work is part of some of the most important collections internationally. He currently lives and creates in Italy.

His painting combines figuration and abstraction with a language of its own, where vibrant color, symbolic forms and deep textures speak of identity, memory and inner silence. Faceless figures, symbolic natures and scenes suspended in time shape a poetic and sensitive universe.

With more than four decades of creation, Miguel de Miguel offers a work that is not merely seen: it is experienced from the most intimate level. An art that crosses borders, styles and words.

Two anonymous figures emerge from a landscape of color and matter, united by a silent dialogue that transcends individual identity. The absent faces turn the characters into universal presences, into bodies that seem to contain states of the soul more than a concrete story.

The intense contrast between reds, greens, yellows and blues builds a vibrant atmosphere, while the gestural brushwork and the overlaid matter reveal a spontaneous, physical and deeply expressive painting. The composition maintains a balance between tension and harmony, making both figures seem to share the same inner space.

In this work, Miguel de Miguel once again places the human figure in that territory where the visible becomes a symbol: a painting about presence, connection, and what remains invisible between two beings.
