Rare 1950s Italian studio ceramic bottle vase by Andrea D'Arienzo, a mid-century modern glazed majolica piece in turquoise/ cobalt blue with beige and brown tones, 12.5 cm high, 8.5 cm wide, 8.5 cm deep, 319 g, marked with A. d'A VIETRI and produced in Vietri, Italy, in excellent condition.

Andrea D'Arienzo (Vietri, 1911–1995) — Rare 1950s Italian Studio Ceramic Bottle Vase
The combination of the simple sculptural form and expressive glaze is highly representative of the experimental spirit of post-war Italian studio ceramics.
Mid-Century Modern / Italian Studio Pottery
Material: Glazed ceramic / maiolica
Colour: Turquoise and cobalt blue mottled glaze
Markings: Hand-painted black underglaze inscription A. d'A VIETRI”
Excellent vintage condition. No structural cracks, chips or professional restorations. Minor shelf wear is present around the unglazed base rim, together with small original kiln/glaze irregularities consistent with handmade 1950s studio pottery.
NOTE: For collectors who prefer a flawless appearance, any imperfections can be assessed and, if desired, professionally restored by a specialist experienced in working with this type of material.
