Description from the seller

Paride Catti 1982 Napoli

A contemporary painter known for his classical and macchiaiola painting (the Italian 19th-century movement), an eclectic artist who creates works using painting techniques on different supports. A young artist who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, where he had as instructors artists of notable prestige, from whom he absorbed diverse techniques of contemporary art, falling in love with 19th-century painting, he created works using techniques of that era, working and experimenting in studios of remarkable contemporary painters. He has participated in exhibitions in Italy, marking his painting style. Paride Catti created this splendid painting with reference to 19th-century techniques, like the great masters of the era (Domenico Morelli, Antonio Mancini, Michetti, etc.). This work titled "Valkyrja" — oil on canvas with mixed media, measuring 60 x 80 cm — was splendidly realized; one can note from the color tones the strength and light they give to this painting. This artist, being young, already has artistic maturity and will go far, because he has great artistic talent. The work will be carefully packaged with an accompanying certificate of authenticity.
