Description from the seller

Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works, one can notice the great charm that 20th-century Italian art has been able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà, and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including television programs devoted entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi's work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and by television and radio broadcasters. Among the most notable events is the great exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palace of Culture in Reggio Calabria; and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about six years as set designs for the GEO program on Rai 3. His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada, and throughout the rest of Europe.
