Lyon, Christofle Fourmy, 1663. 3 volumes in 1 copy. small in l2 of (10) ff.-395pp.-(l) f. white-342pp. poorly numbered 372-(3) ff.-286pp.- (1) f., binding in full rigid vellum with small flaps of the period, title and author's name handwritten in black ink on the head of the spine, first flyleaf with a small paper loss at the upper margin and manuscript ex-libris in black ink: “Comte Van Byland”, interior fresh, pleasant and beautiful copy.                                                                         
             This French translation by the Toulouse printer Bernard de Lesfargues had been printed for the first time in 1639. It is here part of the complete collection of Seneca translations gathered and published again by Christofle Fourmy in 1663.

Lyon, Christofle Fourmy, 1663. 3 tomes en 1 vol. petit in l2 de (10) ff.-395pp.-(l) f. blanc-342pp. mal chiffré 372-(3) ff.-286pp.- (1) f., reliure en plein vélin rigide à petits rabats de l'époque, titre et nom de l'auteur manuscrits à l'encre noire sur la tête du dos, première page de garde avec un petit manque de papier à la marge supérieure et ex-libris manuscrit à l'encre noire: "Comte Van Byland", intérieur frais, agréable et bel exemplaire.                                                                         
             Cette traduction française de l'imprimeur toulousain Bernard de Lesfargues avait été imprimée pour la première fois en 1639. Elle fait partie ici de l'ensemble des traductions de Sénèque rassemblées et publiées à nouveau par Christofle Fourmy en 1663.
