• Jean Ribière (1922-1989)
• He began his career in 1940 in the photo department of the newspaper L'Indépendant des Pyrénées-Orientales.
• With his wife, journalist Micheline Vialle, he founded the Ribière Presse Photos agency, whose reports were published in numerous French and international media, such as Paris Match, L'Express, Keystone and the BBC.
• His work covers post-war France, daily life, regional traditions, sporting events and judicial reporting.
• He also served as vice-president of the National Association of Photojournalists and Filmmakers (ANJRPC) and was involved in defending photographers' copyright.
• At his death, he left a collection of about 120,000 photographic documents, today preserved and enhanced by his family)

THE TAYLOR GALLERY WORKSHOP
The Atelier / Galerie Taylor, located at 7, on the eponymous street in the 10th arrondissement in Paris, is a friendly place dedicated to photography. It was created thanks to image enthusiasts, José Nicolas, photographer and manager of the place with the support of Jean Vinégla.
Located a stone's throw from Place de la République, between rue du Château-d'eau and rue René-Boulanger, the place is dynamic, atypical and warm, resolutely turned towards sharing and mutual discovery of images at the 'international.
