1. Short description of the item and its origin
This is a folk blue and white porcelain tangluo-style brush washer from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China period, with a fake "Qianlong Year Made" mark on the base. The inner surface is hand-painted with the classic figure scene "Jiang Taigong Fishing by the Wei River": twin pine trees, an elderly fisherman sitting on a rock under the moon, representing the literati aesthetic of seclusion and waiting for a noble patron. It is a daily stationery porcelain made by Jingdezhen folk kilns, with visible crack lines and minor rim chips on the plate surface, bearing natural aged wear on glaze and foot.
