ARTIST'S PRESENTATION OF THE WORK
The original painting "On the Path of Evening" is acrylic-painted with a brush on stretched cotton canvas. The scene shows a couple walking away on a dirt path turned golden, beside a calm pond. The sun sets behind a tall umbrella pine, its rays caught in the branches. In the distance, houses light up and reflect in the water.
The brushwork is loaded, textured, laid down layer after layer. The impasto catches the real light in your room and gives texture to the ground. The warm-cool contrasts, purples in the foreground and oranges in the sky, deepen the sense of depth. A figurative impressionist work, luminous, that warms a wall. You are taking home a unique piece, painted entirely by hand.
ABOUT THE ARTIST & CAREER
Pascal Furlan - French professional painter.
My work is officially listed with AKOUN (Reference price of €800 for a 15P format), an essential benchmark recognized internationally to gauge the value of a work on the art market.
Inspired by modern Impressionism, I use acrylic to translate the light and colors around me. My brushstrokes seek to capture the true essence of each subject. Today my work is represented in several private collections around the world (France, Belgium, Germany, United States, Australia...).
