Andrea Krauß is one of the prominent figures in contemporary German painting. A laureate of the AOK Nordost Art Prize (Berlin/Brandenburg) and a former fellow at the renowned Künstlerhaus Lukas in Ahrenshoop, she completed her studies at the Braunschweig University of Art. For many years she has devoted herself to painting and today lives and works in her studio in the heart of Berlin.

At the center of her artistic work is the fusion of memory, atmosphere, and landscape. Beginning with personal impressions, Andrea Krauß develops visual worlds that go beyond the individual and touch universal experiences of nature, space, and transience.
