Jacques Geûens (Bruges, 26 October 1910 - 1991) was a Belgian painter, related to the Bruges School.
He mainly painted landscapes, figures and (flower) still lifes in post-impressionist style and later in a more expressive design language.
Medium & Style : Oil on canvas using thick impasto knife or brush strokes, capturing a mediterranean or douther european landscape with earthy greens ,ochres and blues

Framing: housed in an ornate , dark toned vintage wooden frame with decorative moulding
The probably painting was from him sold by Simonus and Buunk and important art dealer from Ede
