From a private collection in Cologne, offered here: A traditional Akusan hip or blitz belt of the Bontoc or Tingguian Ethnicities from the mountain province of the Philippines. Made from woven textile, cone snail shells, as well as metal rings.
These historic heirlooms were traditionally worn around the hips by women of the noble upper class and often also served as a small pouch.
The weight is 1,250 g.

Aus einer Privatsammlung Köln wird hier angeboten:  Ein traditioneller Akusan-Hüft oder Blitzgürtel der Bontoc- oder Tingguian.Ethnien aus der Bergprovinz der Philippinen. Gefertigt aus gewebtem Textil, Kegelschnecken-Gehäusen, sowie Metallringen. 
Diese historischen Erbstücke wurden traditionell von Frauen der adligen Oberschicht um die Hüfte getragen und dienten oft auch als kleine Tasche.
Das Gewicht liegt bei 1.250 g.
