An authentic, finely hand-carved solid oak wall-mounted coat and hat rack (garderobe), showcasing exquisite traditional craftsmanship in the Folk Art / Alpine Black Forest style.
The plank features a shaped, arched silhouette densely embellished with intricate chip carving (Kerbschnitt). The front face is decorated with a grand central geometric solar rosette, flanked by blooming Edelweiss floral sprays, radiating palmette/fan motifs, and repeating diamond-cut border bands.
It is fitted with five solid brass mounting hooks—three larger double/curved coat-and-hat hooks and two lower single garment hooks—each secured with period flathead brass screws.
