Description from the seller
Title: "Dialogue between Earth and Sea"\n\nThis oil on canvas work of 30x30 cm, created by Roberto Mauri, is a vibrant, layered composition that captures an almost dreamlike landscape through a bold and non-naturalistic use of color. The composition is structured in defined, overlapping color blocks that guide the eye inward.\n\nIn the foreground, a dense lavender shrub textured in various shades of violet and pink welcomes the viewer with a fresh sense. Just beyond, a bright green field, interrupted by long parallel shadows and Overlaid by an enigmatic, fluffy white tree that feels like an explosion of pollen or a giant dandelion, extends diagonally toward the center. This green field gives way to a vast and radiant yellow-orange field that occupies most of the middle space, dotted with three small round green trees. The horizon is marked by a deep blue sea on which sail three small white boats, like minimalist focal points.\n\nThe sky is an intense night blue, with scattered clouds and thin white tufts, creating a dramatic contrast with the bright fields below. The texture of the canvas is visible through the impasto brushwork, adding depth to this chromatic dream. The signature "MAURI" is visible in the bottom left. The work is an exploration of pure color and form, uniting natural and geometric elements into abstract harmony.
