Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Hommage a´ Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, with Andy Warhole and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and most intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects were handmade by me with elaborate craftsmanship.
Partly traces of hand processing are visible, underscoring the uniqueness of each object
Hand-signed
UNIKAT
Ultramarine blue pigments, produced in an elaborate mixture, absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the residual light.
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An elementary characteristic of Pop Art is the often trivial objects known from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thereby given a new life as a "work of art".
