Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"\n\nThis artwork is from the series "Hommage a´ Yves Klein"\n\nYves Klein was, together with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.\n\nHis unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.\n\nAll objects have been meticulously handcrafted by me in painstaking manual work.\n\nParts of the handwork traces are visible, underscoring the uniqueness of each object\n\nHand-signed\n\nEdition no. 1/2\n\nUltramarine blue pigments that were produced in an elaborate mixture absorb light.\nThe darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the ambient light\n\nMy artworks are showcased at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...\n\nMy Pop Art connects art and everyday life. A fundamental feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising. The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thereby gain a new life as a "work of art".
