Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage a´ Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, together with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been meticulously handmade by me.
Partially there are traces of hand-finishing visible, which underline the uniqueness of each object.
Hand-signed
ONE OF A KIND
Ultramarine blue pigments, produced in an elaborate mixture, absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the ambient light.
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life. An essential feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects known from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising. The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thereby gain a new life as "art objects".
