Glass and wrought iron lantern, featuring an open framework and a strong color contrast between the golden metal and the amber glass.
The Glass Diffuser: The central body is a blown amber/fumé glass vase, with a funnel or inverted amphora shape (a wide rim at the top that narrows and then widens into a rounded bulb, typical of Murano glassmaking).
The Metal Structure is painted in a matte/satin gold color.
The side scroll arms: The glass is embraced and supported by a sturdy wrought iron mounting shaped with conspicuous scroll arms (baroque volutes). The vertical posts have a twisted or hammered texture and terminate at the top with two curled elements that flare outward.
The lantern proper is suspended from an upper three-arm framework joined by decorative chains. All of it is connected to a main chain with round links that rises to the ceiling rose (the upper cap, also decorated with a raised, bossed pattern).
When lit, the inner bulb (visible through the glass) emits a warm, intimate, golden light, enhanced by the amber color of the glass.
Height 90 cm. Diameter 30 cm.
Electrical system functional, equipped with an E27 lamp.

I mainly collect Murano chandeliers thanks to the collaboration with some companies that restore apartments and palaces in Venice. In this way, over time, I have recovered the chandeliers of elegant and often ancient houses in the lagoon and in the nearby areas.
Murano glass has an incomparable charm: every piece, even the simplest, has a story hidden in its fragility and its iridescent light.
