In Impulse of Life, a human figure rises from a natural river tuff stone. Its body, tilted toward the void and with the arm extended, seems to begin a determined leap into the unknown. The composition represents the vital force that pushes us to advance, transform ourselves, and surpass our own limits.

The stone symbolizes origin, memory, and the connection with the earth. In front of its organic, ancient texture, the chromed finish of the figure introduces a contemporary dimension. This contrast establishes a dialogue between nature and technology, permanence and movement, matter and spirit.

The figure has been created in high-quality polymer using 3D printing technology. It has subsequently been worked and painted completely by hand to achieve its characteristic chrome effect. The faceted planes of its anatomy capture and reflect light differently depending on the viewing angle, bringing dynamism and a changing visual presence.

The piece rests on an elegant black marble base that reinforces the verticality of the composition and provides stability, sobriety, and balance to the whole.

About the artists

The Rodríguez is the artistic project of brothers Grego Rodríguez and Raúl Rodríguez, multidisciplinary creators based in the Sierra de Segura, Jaén, Spain.
Their work combines sculpture, painting, and contemporary design, integrating artisanal processes, new technologies, and natural materials. Their creations are part of private collections in Europe and Asia.
