Up for auction is a magnificent and highly authentic OMEGA open-dial pocket watch made of solid 0.800 silver from the First World War (circa 1916–1917).
This watch comes with a vintage presentation box and pocket watch chain, making it a complete collector's item.

Brand / Manufacturer: OMEGA (Swiss Made).
Serial Numbers: Movement Serial Number: 4953470 / Case Serial Number: 5734020 (dates the watch precisely to circa 1916–1917).
Movement: Authentic high quality Omega hand-wound mechanical movement. Clean, fully functional and keeps time.
Case Material: Solid 0.800 sterling silver with Swiss and German silver hallmarks (0.800, crescent and crown, Grouse stamp). Case back has a guilloche back and an unengraved central monogram shield.
Case (dust cover): Beautifully decorated with gold Grand Prix exhibition award medals and clearly marked OMEGA.
Dial and hands: Flawless white enamel/porcelain dial with dark, clear Arabic numerals, seconds register at 6 o'clock and ornate gold-tone Louis XV style hands.
Dimensions: Diameter -50.3 mm (excluding crown).
