Description from the seller

What a treat, how this little one sounds... I was testing once more the perfection of surround sound in the low register with no leaks, using the pinky on the right and left mechanisms, as well as on the left-hand F# and, to mention the middle register, the B’s and the C# as well as the C natural with the left pinky... In short, you can see the photos of the physical condition of this American SYMPHONY with no warping, chipping, or rust. (There is a certain impression of keys with a finish less bright, more matte than the body, but that’s natural wear; there are no oxides or chips in the lacquer, period. Very nice overall; I’ve fitted some superb pads, some leather and others of hide that, when adjusted perfectly, achieve what’s described—the sonic perfection.) The issue of playability and key precision: it has been thoroughly serviced and all springs exert optimal pressure both on the keys that open and those that close. The cork on assembly is very good and greased; the neck fits perfectly, and, in short, I don’t think I’m missing any detail of the restoration this American clarinet has undergone. The mouthpiece cork (and tenon cap) is original, of course, and nothing more... we ship it in a soft hanging pouch and, of course, it is packed in a sturdy cardboard box with appropriate fragile-packaging dimensions. Nothing more, there remains a new jewel in B-flat offered in this emblematic auction, one that any aspiring player—or already a musician—can surely acquire through an intelligent bid. Regards."}} } }/*
