Elegant IWC International Watch Co. Schaffhausen Ref. R810A, vintage automatic watch produced in the second half of the 1960s and characterized by the classic sober and elegant style of the Schaffhausen manufactory.

The watch features a stainless steel case with classic proportions, straight lugs and solid case back. On the inside of the case back the marking is clearly visible:

INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO – SWISS – R 810 A

The reference is therefore confirmed directly by the case.

The dial is silvered with a refined vertical finish, applied baton indexes and matching hands. At the top there is the italic signature:

International Watch Co.
Schaffhausen

while above the 6 o’clock position the word AUTOMATIC is printed.

At 3 o’clock there is the date window, embellished with an applied frame.

The dial retains a very pleasant appearance and shows a natural patina and small marks compatible with the age of the watch, clearly visible in the photographs.

The watch is equipped with an IWC mechanical automatic movement, branded International Watch Co. Swiss, belonging to the famous family of IWC automatic calibers with the Pellaton winding system. The movement appears clean and consistent with the reference.

The watch is currently functioning.

The case shows normal signs of use and small superficial scratches compatible with the age, not compromising the overall elegance of the piece.

The crystal is plexiglass and shows normal superficial signs of use.

Completing the watch is a brown leather strap, not original to the era, with a buckle bearing the IWC logo.
