A beautiful pair of yellow-copper table candlesticks from the transitional period between Classicism and the Empire (circa 1790–1820). The candlesticks consist of a stepped round base and a slender, conically tapering stem with baluster accents. The top features a characteristic vaulted collar. Crafted from cast yellow copper and finished on the lathe with visible mounting pins under the base. A nicely aged patina and a harmonious overall size.

Een fraai stel geelkoperen tafelkandelaars uit de overgangsperiode van het classicisme naar het Empire (ca. 1790–1820). De kandelaars zijn opgebouwd uit een getrapte ronde voet en een slanke, conisch toelopende stam met balusteraccenten. De bovenzijde is voorzien van een karakteristiek gewelfde kraag. Vervaardigd uit gegoten en op de draaibank afgewerkt geelkoper met zichtbare montagepen onder de voet. Mooie doorleefde patine en een harmonieus formaat.
