Antique Carbide Radsonne Headlight - Acetylene Bicycle Lamp from 1910s/1920s. Splendid and rare front carbide (acetylene) headlight for bicycles or vintage motorcycles, produced by the famous German manufactory Radsonne (Sol/Sun symbol) between the 1910s and 1920s. This item is a piece of cycling history, ideal for collectors or to enhance the restoration of historic bicycles (Bianchi, Dei, Umberto Dei, Maino, etc.) or for historical events like L’Eroica.
Main features and details:
Brand: Radsonne (Germany) original from the period.
Distinguishing marks: Large emblem in the shape of a radiant sun, embossed on the rear cap, geometric radial logo on the top cap, and fine decorative knurling on the lower reservoir.
Material: Nickel-plated brass.
Components: Complete with convex front jewel/glass, internal parabolic reflector, two faceted side glass gems, and original rear bracket with knurled screw adjustment for mounting to the handlebars.
