This painting signed C. Verschuur is the work of the Dutch painter Cor Bouter (1888-1966). He regularly used this pseudonym for his traditional, figurative works that are strongly inspired by the Hague School.

His oeuvre largely consists of landscapes with livestock (such as flocks of sheep and cows), farmyard scenes, and urban views. Prices for original works by his hand vary at auctions and platforms, sometimes bringing in a few hundred euros.
