Description from the seller
“La Calma” is a celebration of the small moments of pause that transform the everyday into something extraordinary. The figure, immersed in a moment of contemplation, conveys a sense of serenity and balance, as the composition combines a careful geometry of color planes with a loose, luminous brushstroke.
The intensity of the blues, greens, and warm tones creates a chromatic dialogue full of harmony, where light and space assume a central role. The everyday elements: the fruit, the tablecloth, the landscape, reinforce the intimate atmosphere of the scene, evoking the pleasure of stopping time and savoring the present.
With a figurative language of contemporary sensitivity, “La Calma” is a work that invites contemplation and brings a sense of well-being, luminosity, and sophistication to any space.
