Description from the seller
BIOGRAPHY CURATOR:
Aket Kubic, born on May 20, 1989 in Grande-Synthe, in the north of France. He is a French contemporary street artist whose work transcends national borders. Having grown up in an artistic milieu, Aket first encounters with art in adolescence.
Aket Kubic interprets daily life, transforming routines and ordinary scenes into positive and surprising visions that speak to everyone. His work brings new perspectives to traditional scenes, giving the viewer a fresh look at the banal. His unique style is immediately recognizable, characterized by an emphasis on geometric objects like cubes and by a playful and experimental approach to art. His unique approach to daily life and cubism, combined with his playful experimentation, ensures him a prominent place in contemporary art.
PRE-SALE OF A FEW WORKS FROM THE NEXT EXHIBITION.
The artist translates everyday life with a mischievous glance. He draws inspiration from cubism to deconstruct shapes.
The line is sharp. Geometry dominates. The influence of street art asserts itself through the use of spray paint and acrylic. Here, a caricatural character settles on a MBK 51 MAGNUM.
The angular face, topped with a beret, watches a newspaper “MOB SHOP” with a cigarette in its lips.
Every detail, from the white sneakers to the inscriptions on the vehicle, reinforces the urban aspect of the canvas.
Technique: spray paint, acrylic (Matte varnish)
Created on 1 canvas on a stretcher
Dimensions (cm): 92 × 73 × 3 cm
year 2026
