The piece is titled “Mickey’s Feelings,” a pun on “mixed feelings,” because several layers of colors and stained-glass effects are superimposed until the painting is completed in gold. As if that weren’t enough, at the end some splashes of paint are added in a 100% spontaneous way to give some color (red in this case, as it suits Mickey) and texture. This painting was created by feeling many things, and the artist wanted that to reflect on the canvas.
