ABOUT THE ARTIST:
I paint to give shape to what cannot always be said with words: the calm, the light, and the emotion of a moment.
I am Noelia Correa, a visual artist with a B.A. in Fine Arts, of Argentine-Spanish roots. I have been working in my studio in Alicante, Spain, for 25 years.
My work emerges between two seas that have always accompanied me: the strength of the Atlantic and the serenity of the Mediterranean.
In my paintings I do not seek to represent places, but feelings. I work with acrylics and mixed media, building layers, transparencies, and textures that invite a moment to stop, breathe, and connect.
Each piece is a very intuitive process, almost like a conversation with the canvas. I seek that balance between energy and calm, always leaving space for the viewer to find their own emotion.
