Description from the seller
The rebirth of an icon: Ducati Monster (model year 2003) – a masterpiece in pristine condition
There are motorcycles you ride – and there are motorcycles you create as works of art. This Ducati Monster, built in 2003, is the result of an uncompromising vision: the creation of the perfect Monster, more beautiful and meticulous than it has ever left the Borgo Panigale factory halls. In a two-year epic metamorphosis, this machine was completely rebuilt from the ground up by a renowned master workshop down to the last screw. This wasn’t just restoration – it was a monument to the analogue, raw Ducati era.
The naked facts of an obsession: 3,000 man-hours: Countless days and nights were poured into perfection, adaptation, and assembly. A manufacture-scale labor time that would be simply priceless in money.
Flawless base: Every single component was completely disassembled. The frame, engine components, and small parts were gently shot-blasted with ice, sand, or micro-beads depending on material, to guarantee an absolutely flawless, pristine surface for refinement.
Top-class paint job (~ €4,000): A depth of glaze like no other. The exclusive finish was built up in about 15 meticulous layers. It gives the bike optical depth that, depending on the light, stunningly highlights the Monster’s muscular lines.
Coating & anodizing (~ €3,000): No detail was left untouched. All metal and functional parts were refined with high-quality powder coatings and anodizing processes – for extreme protection and a noble, matte-sheen finish.
Upholstery craft (~ €2,000): The custom-made seat was redesigned in absolute master craftsmanship, perfectly integrated with the lines and upholstered with finest materials. Ergonomics meets aesthetics.
uncompromising new parts (~ €13,000): No compromises or half measures were made. If a part wasn’t absolutely perfect, it was replaced with high-quality original or refined new parts. The result: better than new.
This Ducati Monster combines the unadulterated, characterful riding feel of the legendary 2003 model year with the quality standard and look of a modern show bike. It is a complete one-of-a-kind for collectors, enthusiasts, and aesthetes who seek the extraordinary and who appreciate the endless work behind this project. A motorcycle with a soul, built for eternity.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
