ABOUT CRISTINA TALEA

Specialization in Visual Arts

Architecture and Spatial Design
A meditation on light as a guiding point and on the need to find direction in uncertain spaces. Inspired by the presence of a lighthouse, the work does not depict it literally, but reduces it to its essence: a light that persists, a visible sign from a distance.
The vertical forms that move through the composition suggest tension, struggle, and the effort to keep moving forward. The intense red brings drama and energy, evoking an inner force in constant confrontation with the darkness around it. As the eye moves toward the centre, this tension gradually fades, dissolving into white and light.
It is a passage from unrest towards clarity, from tension towards stillness, without the darkness ever disappearing completely. The work leaves space for the viewer to discover their own struggle, their own journey, and their own light within it.
“Still Here” speaks of resilience, guidance, and hope — of the strength to remain and to keep going, even when the path ahead is not yet clear.
Signed by the artist.
The work is an original abstract painting, manually crafted in acrylic on canvas, measuring 50 x 70 cm, using professional-quality acrylic colors. The size is balanced, neither aggressive nor too small, allowing the space to breathe and the work to be perceived as a unique object.
The painting is stretched on a wooden frame and will be properly packaged for safe transport.
The work is signed in the original, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. It is also signed and dated on the back of the piece.
It is advisable to analyze all images and detailed photographs; colors may vary slightly from the actual colors of the paintings depending on screen settings. Unique work.
The images in the presentation are montages and may vary in size to better illustrate the details of the painting.
The actual dimensions are those stated in the description.
ARTISTIC PROFILE CRISTINA TALEA
Cristina Talea is a visual artist, architect, and scenographer whose creative practice explores the relationship between emotion and structure.
Her works combine the sensitivity developed through her early fine arts education with the discipline of architectural thinking. Texture, color, and atmosphere play a central role in her visual language, while rhythm, balance, and composition provide a strong structural foundation.
Drawing from visual arts, architecture, and scenography, she creates works situated between fiction, nostalgia, and the tangible world. Memory, place, and atmosphere are recurring themes, transformed into layered compositions that invite contemplation rather than direct interpretation.
By merging intuition with structure, her works create visual spaces where the imagined and the real coexist, balancing sensitivity and strength, reflection and presence.
