Description from the seller
Milton H. Greene – Jacqueline Bisset, Harper’s Bazaar, 1983
A beautiful and intimate portrait of Jacqueline Bisset, photographed by legendary American photographer Milton H. Greene in 1983.
The photograph originates from Greene’s Harper’s Bazaar session with Bisset, capturing the actress at the height of her international career. Seated backwards on a chair against a dark studio background, Bisset appears remarkably natural and relaxed — an excellent example of Greene’s ability to create elegant celebrity portraits without losing the personality of his subject.
By 1983, Jacqueline Bisset was already an international star, known for films including Bullitt, The Deep and Murder on the Orient Express. Her effortless style and screen presence made her one of the most photographed actresses of her generation.
