An impressive and finely detailed antique altar crucifix in Neo-Baroque style, dating from the early 20th century,

Cast in heavy metal alloy (spelter/regule) with original silvered/nickel finish displaying a beautiful authentic patina and age-appropriate wear to the raised surfaces. The crucifix features a highly ornate square pedestal base decorated with baroque scrolls, acanthus leaves, and cross-hatching detail.

The figure of Christ (Corpus) is sculpted with exceptional detail. The underside retains its original threaded assembly with an authentic antique square nut.
