Moleveld, Pieter Moleveld was born on 1 September 1919 in Voorburg and died on 11 July 1976 in The Hague. He lived and worked in Voorburg, Rijswijk (ZH) and since 1938 in The Hague. Apprentice of P.J. van Boxtel. He painted in a naturalistic-romantic style, still lifes, portraits and landscapes. In 1956 he contracted polio (was paralyzed in both arms) and had the courage to adapt to become one of the best foot painters in the Netherlands. He received the Grand Prix Minnesota and 1st prize, silver bowl, Minnesota (USA). He was a member of the Association of Mouth and Foot Painters.
